While everyone else spends their time setting New Year’s resolutions, I spent my time calling my local HVAC person because my heat went out the day after Christmas. He told us the good news: we needed a new heat pump and our fans were burned out too. Merry Christmas, right? We’ve used space heaters to heat our home for the past few days because the heat pump has to get ordered and they have no crew available until Friday, but the cost to us is over $4,000. Imagine you’re in the same situation. Now imagine you have the opportunity to win $500 cash and it happens! You can’t win if you don’t try, right? Everyone needs to hope for a little luck now and then, and with some bad luck, sometimes you get a little good luck. At least, I hope so. And if you haven’t had any bad luck, may your lucky streak continue!
Farewell, 2014! Auf Wiedersehen! Adieu! Despideda!
Here’s your chance to win some money for once instead of shelling out money for the air conditioner that stopped working (yeah, that happened too), the car that broke down (that too), the other car breaking down (I’m not kidding), getting towed off the side of the road (uh-huh), the dryer with irreplaceable parts (seriously), and who knows what ill-fated nonsense happened in 2014.
It’s 2015, people! It’s time to celebrate the ending of the old and the beginning of new possibilities.
Let’s do this thing!
